The Traditional English Christmas Cake

(Click The picture above to see more photos of the cakes) - Pictured - large Size Cake

Enjoy the traditional old English Christmas cake made by the Fraser Family for three generations across two continents.  It’s also known in Scotland and in the UK as the traditional Wedding cake or the Whisky Dundee.

It is very popular. It is a dark rich slightly crumbly cake with Walnuts, Almonds, Currants, Raisins, Cherries, Orange, Lemon, Allspice, Cinnamon & showered in a light drizzle of Brandy

All cakes are hand made in advance in November, keeping the cake upside down in an airtight container. A small amount of brandy is poured into holes and ‘cured’ until Christmas.

Storage & Serving Instructions: Cakes taste best if let to cure for 3-weeks after baking.  Because the cakes are slightly crumbly, cut with a sharp, narrow, smooth knife with light downward pressure and using long cutting strokes. Cakes will store up to a year when kept in an air tight container in a cool place (no refrigeration required).
